Shepley Oval

Shepley Oval is an outdoor sports oval located Dandenong, in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The ground is most well known as the home of former VFA club Dandenong Football Club between from 1962 until they folded in 1994. These days, it remains the home of U18 side Dandenong Stingrays and the Dandenong Cricket Club. It also hosted the majority of VFL home games for the Springvale Football Club between 2000 and 2005.

Shepley Oval is located at the eastern end of Dandenong Park, immediately north of the Dandenong Creek. The parkland was used for sports in the late 19th century, but throughout the early half of the 20th century until the 1960s, the premier venue for sports in Dandenong was the Dandenong Showgrounds. Shepley Oval was developed to a top standard oval in the late 1950s, with a grandstand being opened in 1959, and it has been the region's premier sports venue since the 1960s. The ground features a main grandstand and double-story pavilion which was upgraded in 2014 and lights suitable for training. The estimated total capacity of the ground is around 4,000.
