Darwin Football Stadium

The Darwin Football Stadium (officially known as Larrakia Park) opened in mid-2007 at the Marrara Sporting Precinct. The stadium provides Darwin with an international standard football (soccer) facility. The complex includes two full sized football fields. The main field includes a grandstand with seating for a little over 1,000 as well as floodlighting suitable for night matches. The total capacity is around 6,000. The stadium was officially opened on Saturday 28th July 2007 when it played host to an A-League Pre-Season Cup game between Perth Glory and Melbourne Victory.
