Morwell Recreation Reserve

Morwell Recreation Reserve is an Australian football and cricket facility located in the Victorian town of Morwell. It is the home ground of the Gippsland Power Football Club in the U18 NAB League, the Morwell Football Club and the Morwell Cricket Club. The ground occasionally hosts pre-season AFL matches, with 12,000 fans watching Essendon v Richmond in 2005, and it also hosted a Collingwood AFLW match in 2019. The ground has also previously hosted international cricket, featuring Australia in 1978 and Sri Lanka in 1985.

An upgrade to the site by the Latrobe City Council commenced in 2018, and saw the installation of new netball courts, 200 lux lighting, a shared pavilion, and a second ground with synthetic playing surface for Australian football and cricket. The second stage of the upgrade was completed in January 2019.
