The Silverdome is Tasmania's largest indoor entertainment venue, located minutes from the Launceston city centre. The venue hosts a wide variety of national/international sports and entertainment events. The venue has an easily adaptable seating arrangement and can seat 4,000 for sports events. The Silverdome features an indoor cycling velodrome, a sprung timber sports floor for basketball and netball, and enough space to accommodate exhibitions and conventions of all sizes. It has hosted Super Netball and NBL matches.
