Seiffert Oval

Seiffert Oval

Seiffert Oval is located in Queanbeyan, just outside of Canberra. The ground is the former home of the Canberra Raiders (NSWRL/NRL) who played there between 1982 and 1989 and also the Canberra Cosmos (NSL) before both teams moved on to Canberra Stadium. Inter Monaro who also played in the NSL played all their games at the ground.

The ground features a main grandstand with seating, a shelter at one end and a hill surrounding the other two sides of the playing arena. The venue was upgraded in 2017 with new seats installed in the grandstand, scoreboard and other improved facilities. Seiffert Oval now hosts occasional pre-season games for the NRL and Super Rugby, W-League games as well as local sport.
