Sydney International Equestrian Centre

The Sydney International Equestrian Centre is an equestrian sport venue located in the Sydney suburb of Horsley Park. The facility was built for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, opening in 1999. The Centre continues to host equestrian and other sporting events and remains an international standard equestrian sports facility. The main outdoor arena is 120 x 80 metres in size and features grandstand seating for 2,000 spectators and large grass hill around the arena - with an estimated total capacity of 10,000. The indoor arena has seating for 750 spectators. In all, there are 13 outdoor arenas, as well as 10km of trails, steeple chase tracks and cross country courses, accommodation, administration buildings, conference rooms and 300 horse stables. Various upgrades of the facility have taken place since the 2000 Olympics.
