Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG)

The historic Sydney Cricket Ground boasts an impressive list of credentials, encompassing cricket, Australian Rules Football, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Soccer, Baseball, Cycling and major concerts by the Rolling Stones, Billy Joel and Elton John, Michael Jackson, Madonna, the Eagles, Prince, Green Day and the Wave Aid concert. The primary tenants at the SCG are the Sydney Swans (AFL) and Cricket (Internationals, NSW Blues & Sydney Sixers).

The SCG originally opened in 1886, and has been developed over time to become the great stadium it is today holding just over 47,000. The ground is currently in the final stages of its most recent redeveloped which includes the new Noble & Bradman Stand and the Messenger Stand which now includes one of the largest video screens in Australia. The new facilities have increased capacity to around 48,000 and provided a much-needed improvement to facilities, especially in the members area. The SCG is widely recognised for retaining its historic members and ladies grandstands.
