Pratten Park

Pratten Park is the original home of the Western Suburbs Magpies. They Magpies played there for around half a century before moving west to Lidcombe Oval. The Ashfield ground is still home to the Western Suburbs Cricket Club, a club that has had Michael Clarke and Bob Simpson among its playing ranks over the years. In the past, Pratten Park has also hosted NSW league and NSL soccer.

Pratten Park is a very quaint suburban ground. The term stadium seems inappropriate. There is a small wooden and brick grandstand in the western corner. The rest of the ground is surrounded by grass hills.
