The $44 million second stage of the Memorial Drive redevelopment includes two new grandstands to the east and north of centre court with new seating with improved sightlines, as well as food and beverage facilities and enhanced amenity.
Stage one of the Memorial Drive Tennis Centre redevelopment was completed in 2019, with the construction of a roof over the main arena. As well as the woven fibreglass canopy, new fencing and lighting is planned, as well as a refurbishment of four courts. Capacity remained at 5,000 seats.
