Maroochydore Multisports Complex
The Maroochydore Multisports Complex is a multi-sport facility located in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. It features three floodlit AFL ovals, one lit senior soccer and two lit junior soccer fields, plus training area as well as 20 lit hard courts and six grass courts for netball. There is a community building with space for meetings and events, spectator seating and undercover spectator viewing for netball and AFL. Following recent $2.7m upgrade including the construction of a new multi sport field, the Brisbane Lions AFLW team will play at the facility for the 2022 season, before moving to Springfield in 2023. It also previously held an AFL pre-season match for the Lions in 2012 in front of 5,000 fans.
