Browne Park

Browne Park is a rectangular football venue located in Rockhampton, central Queensland. Originally a rugby union ground when it opened in 1890, the ground has primarily hosted rugby league from 1918 onwards. It was most recently upgraded in 2004 with the construction of a new grandstand and upgraded lighting. There are now two grandstands, the Rockhampton Leagues Club at one end and a grass hill at the other - with a total capacity of 5,200. Queensland Cup team Central Queensland Capras call Browne Park home, while it hosted its first ever NRL game for premiership points in August 2021.
