The world-famous Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit at Bathurst is widely regarded as one of the formidable race tracks in the world. Situated on the mountain itself, the 6.213km street circuit features the fastest corner in touring car racing. The height difference between the lowest and highest point of the track is 174 metres. The circuit hosts the Bathurst 1000 V8 Supercars race each year as well as the Bathurst 12 Hour and as also previously hosted the Australian Grand Prix and Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix. Facilities include a modern pit building and grandstand while additional temporary facilities are constructed for the annual race.
