NBL

Australia's National Basketball League (NBL) is one of Australia's longest running national competitions and currently involves eight teams from Australia and one from New Zealand. The 2020/21 season (NBL21) commenced on January 20 in Adelaide. The inaugural NBL Cup will be played in Melbourne from February 20. The 2019/20 season saw the introduction of new team South East Melbourne Phoenix, while the Tasmania JackJumpers will join in 2021/22.
