Take a virtual stadium tour while in isolation

Austadiums   |  Saturday 11th April 2020

While attending a sports stadium isn’t possible at the moment, you can take a virtual walk around the MCG, SCG, Adelaide Oval, and other stadiums here on Austadiums.

You can explore areas off-limits to the public where members have exclusive access, or corporate areas reserved for VIPs, as well as player facilities. You can also check out the view of the field from different vantage points to find the ideal seats to book once attending sports events becomes reality once more.

TAKE A VIRTUAL TOUR NOW

You can currently take a virtual tour of nine stadiums and we hope to add more to the list in the near future. Check out some of our highlights below.

Once in, drag the image to look around and tap the white arrows to move around. Tap the numbers on the right to move to a different level of the stadium. To instantly go somewhere else in the stadium, tap the ‘venue map’ button to view the full map, then drag the yellow person onto one of the blue lines.

Melbourne Cricket Ground
While you can explore most areas of the MCG, including inside the exclusive MCC Members Reserve, the Long Room remains exclusive and is off limits even in a virtual sense, but you can still check out the members dining room, the committee room, many of the bars including the Grey Smith Bar (below), as well as some of the honour boards, photos and pieces of art on the walls.

Sydney Cricket Ground
Take a walk through the historic members and ladies pavilions at the SCG. The grandstands opened in 1886 and 1896 respectively and there is plenty of history to see inside. Check out the bars, the dressing rooms or the view of the ground from level two. Move across to the new Noble/Brandman Stand to see much newer facilities.
