Wests Tigers announce home grounds for next three seasons

Wests Tigers home games will return to CommBank Stadium in 2025, after the NRL club announced its home venues for the next three seasons.
The club last played home games at the venue last season, but split its home matches between Leichhardt Oval and Campbelltown Sports Stadium for the 2024 NRL season.
Wests Tigers will play three home games per season at the Parramatta venue for the next three years, while also committing to its two traditional venues for the next two seasons, with an option for 2027.
The spiritual home of the Tigers, Leichhardt Oval, will host three home games per season, plus a trial game - a reduction of one premiership match, with the iconic venue set to undergo a $40 million upgrade.
Campbelltown Sports Stadium will host four games in 2025 and 2026 - which is also a reduction of one match.
On its website, the club said it had arrived at this three-year stadium policy after months of detailed planning, consultation, customer research and negotiations, involving key stakeholders, including councils and venue operators.
Leichhardt Oval and Campbelltown Sports Stadium will be undergoing much-needed improvements over the next couple of years, which will reduce capacity at these venues during the construction phase.
The club said a decision on playing home games at these two venues for the 2027 season will not be made until construction timelines and ground capacities have been confirmed.
Wests Tigers CEO Shane Richardson says the club’s stadia plan has been shaped by many factors.
“A joint venture will always face difficulties around venue selection,” said Richardson.
“Our members and fans know that we will always make decisions which we believe are in the best interests of this club.
“We are excited and proud to continue building our community in the south-west and Macarthur region, and playing games in Campbelltown is a big part of that.
“Equally, we look forward to the improvements at Leichhardt Oval, so that we can continue to call it our home as well.
"CommBank Stadium is an amazing place to watch footy which will give our members first class facilities to enjoy the Wests Tigers’ match day experience.
“It will also provide significant commercial opportunities that are needed for Wests Tigers to grow and become a top four club.”
