Back in the dim dark past when I was a first year engineering student, we used to have an informal paper plane competiton in lectures. One day a bloke launched quite a sophisticated design from the back row of one of the largest lecture theatres on campus and would have hit the lecturer if he hadn't of seen it and stepped aside at the last second (and kept on with the lecture fair play to him). I never thought I'd see anything in the field of paper aeronautics as good as that, I was wrong

^^ That's pretty special.
Best plane I ever launched was in year 1. Wind caught it. Bloody thing wouldn't come down... ever. After eternity it went over the school fence to a shopping centre, and the teacher dropped a mental because half the kids tried running out the school gate on to a busy main road to follow the plane.
