Brazil benefited from a home town decision to award them a soft penalty. Cros could have held on - though their keeper was caught flat-footed twice anyway

Keeper's effort on the third was very slack. Should have been tipped around.

I played the majority of my football as a keeper and can empathise. If a ball is wide you want it waist height. High not ideal, low is hell.

For the low ones the mechanics are generally more consistent with a slide than a jump, and you generate less thrust in the process. If you go the jump you want to have your head in the process early, ie not reflex jumping, because you need that time to fashion a roll of your body. If you don't: game over, concussion on either the turf or your own Humerus bone.

The one he'll be disappointed with is the penalty. The ones you got your hand to live under your skin and sh*t the f**k out of you in to your 40s.

I just let out the piss weakest yelp of "Yes" when the Timmy Cahill header went in, and still got in trouble from the missus for waking her up. She's Scottish, they're not there, so its a bit frustrating as I want to fire up fkn but still want to not be in the spare room. The sun comes up at 4:30 am here and the spare room blind is crap.

Reactions.

First of all, not one to tell a bloke how to run his missus, but I reckon Dibo has it about right, and kilonewtown sorry mate, I don't know much about Scotland but I know a bit about Australia and I reckon you need to fukn sort it out.

On the game. The result is good. We played a quality team and could have gotten blown off the park. The Spain result keeps us in this. And most importantly we scored a goal. It makes a big difference going in to game 2 if the coach tells you to believe in yourself and you're thinking we believe in ourselves but can't score a goal fukn.
