Groups C, E and F would have been notably easier for us. Pulling the slot that Costa Rica got in group D would have been the hardest, but most enjoyable we could have had.

I would've dragged Kevin Muscat out of retirement if we were in group D.

We'll be lucky to get a point in group B... and if by some miracle finish second, Brazil awaits in the round of 16.

Group C on the other hand... we could top it

Repeat after me: "This is a learning experience. We want to win the Asian Cup in January. We will be stronger for qualifying for Russia"

If in doubt, win the match and work out the group implications later.
