Giving Chile a 2 goal headstart was nit a good option, but the rest of the game was awesome.

These South American team supporters are a f***ing monster unleashed upon us.
I cannot see any other continent producing a finalist. Not when we're playing in stadiums full of these nutters.
10/10 would bang.

Not so much the missus, but if I was to wake up the wee man, there'd be hell to pay.
He had the right idea yesterday, disappeared from playing in the backyard, he'd slipped past me and sat himself in front of the Mexico Cameroon match. He's not yet 2.

Re: 2014 FIFA World Cup
These formative years are crucial. On one of my indoor football teams a bloke has a bub similar age. He makes a break for the court every chance he gets and puts on a tanty when dad goes on without him. 2 of the crew had to do laps of the car park with him to calm him down.kilonewton wrote:Not so much the missus, but if I was to wake up the wee man, there'd be hell to pay.

This is the sort of attitude and commitment our Socceroos need to show.

Anyone else think the stadium in Porto Alegre is a stunner?

I was impressed by the Socceroos this morning. If we take goal aggragate across all sports into account for all world cups in the past seven days, we can still say that we beat them 9 - 6

I consider this stadium to be Australian soil.

On face value, Uruguay/Italy is a tough one. But I've decided I have enough closure on Uruguay so I'd prefer Italy gets karma f***ed in the date this time round.

Re: 2014 FIFA World Cup
SBS' World Cup show talking about match-fixing allegations leveled at Cameroon. Theirs was the only campaign worse than ours. Tune in for the corruption; stay for Fernanda.
