I find the above report staggering. Am I alone in that?

Nup. They're still a mid-sized club but they're spending like they're a continental heavyweight.

The Financial Fairplay system can't come into play soon enough. It'll play down the incentive for rich owners to piss away vast sums on transfer fees and wages. Seriously, the top end of the football market is beyond distorted.

I know they aren't typical of other clubs but it is amazing to think that these are the figures of a club that has tried to make a play for breaking up the dominance of a relative few in recent times. I think they also want to redevelop CoM Stadium into 60k seater as well. I can't see where the money will come from. Manchester Council has slashed its budget and the club surely cannot take on more debt.

I don't get the new rules. They're still allowed to carry a loss, but it is limited. Is that indefinite?

I'm not very good at predictions but I think City will choke.

Utd just know how to win. Whatever the opposite of choking is, they have it.

When you say "the opposite of choking" I think you mean "25 minutes of stoppage time when you're a goal down."

gotta laugh at our last few comments in this thread. Well done City for snatching victory from the jaws of humiliating, heart-breaking defeat to their spoilt prick neighbours in the most dramatic way possible.

And the footbal lleague system is the best in the world.

It should decide everything.

Football.

What to buy at Woolies.

What job to take.

What should I eat for dinner.

Everything.

Always trust Simmo to come through with the good videos. And always good to see Fergie without a title.
