One for the purists.
MK Dons v AFC Wimbledon in the League Cup at 4:45am tomorrow. Setanta is carrying it, and you can also watch it online for free if you have a Ladbrokes account.

Wonder if the (real) Dons fans will turn up en masse or completely boycott

About 1000 turned up. They had a mini-pitch invasion when they scored their consolation penalty near the end. MK Dons play Man Utd in the next round. MK Stadium is really neat, but the club is as plastic as they come.

Keep your eye out for the security guard discovering he hits harder than he thought he could, on a Womble.

That was filmed from very close to if not the same seat I had when Leeds played there the first time.yob wrote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-3XR-TE3zU

Lovely ground. Milton Keynes as a population centre deserves quality football, shame about how it came about. (If you can call League One "quality". Its better than Scottish football!)

It's one of the tragedies of sport. A club in Crystal Palace, the sum of its parts a club that I would be all over. The working man's pedigree, the string of Australian players, the tenacious spirit that comes from a team always chasing the dream at the top of the Championship or battling for survival in the premier league, the raucous passionate fans. And yet I wouldn't be caught dead following them. Because Craig Foster is that big a dick head.

Meanwhile, is this where we come to laugh at United?

Seems an appropriate place for it.dibo wrote:Meanwhile, is this where we come to laugh at United?
To blatantly rip off something doing the rounds on social media, I think I'll make my son support United. Don't want him being a sheep supporting a top side.

The best part about the Manure loss is that they've retained their nervous, incoherent, slow prodding of the ball from last season. And in round 1, so it sets the tone for the entire year. It'll make for one nervous drive from London to game day each week.
Love it.
Love it.

They had a pretty sh*t start to the season the last time they won the league. I'm just gonna enjoy it one game at a time

lol @ Aston Villa fans not giving the ball back against Newcastle. Then chucking it in on the Corner kick.
And further lols for mother nature opening up on them exactly 2 minutes later.

Had a good chuckle at that. The best bit was that they wound up playing 10 a few minutes later, and could've used the time they lost f***ing around in the corner.

Give them a few more years in the wilderness before they start respecting the cup competitions again.
