I think images in people's signatures are slowly getting out of hand (bigger and bigger). If something's not done now, it may cause absolute havoc for the forum down the road a bit

What do you think? Vote now!

Not that I care

But bigger signatures are the go

Just to piss Cam off!

Nah in seriousness keep the signatures, no restrictions.

Plus I just love seeing Perthsmikes signature day after day, it reminds me of how lucky I am to be a sandgroper

Sigs with big images are nothing but trouble... If you had a hack to limit the size, it'd work, but if you can't find a hack for it, just ditch images in sigs...

yeah i reckon that some of the signatures going around are too big.
not to single out one person, but dale....sorry...HMS Cheesmaker's new signature is a bit on the large side
but also right....i dont know how well it could be policed
i'd say keep them, but see if they can be reduced. they give another chance to show personality, especially on an internet forum

Yeah.... as soon as I read the title of this post I knew I'd get a mention.

Well.... as far as I know you can limit sizes pretty effectively. The other forum I frequent has a limit in its rules. And it is well followed. And it is a much bigger forum. Considering there are only 10-15 regular posters here, it really wouldn't be hard to enforce. And I'm sure we'd all follow it anyway.

Now... my sig is about the allowable size for that other forum. And I have diallup, and that forum runs very fast anyway. It really shouldn't be a problem.

But... If everyone is worried I can make the sig smaller. Just let me know. I like it. Nice big bright sigs make a forum vibrant and gives everyone a high recognition factor.

One good thing is limiting the number of images in sigs. Nothing worse than a forumer where every second poster has 3 pictures plus text in his text.

But again... if it worries people, let me know and I'll reduce the size of my sig. That is the wonder of this forum. Nice and small and friendly. We'll make our sigs small just because its the right thing to do.

OK... I think I will. Just not for a couple of days... a pain in the proverbial to fiddle around with a resize and upload it.

Me? Lazy? Never!

BTW: remind me if i forget!

Stole it off the dragons army forum's avatar gallery.

Glad you like it.

Now.

Wouldn't it make this place a little more colourful if we all had some nice interesting signatures.

Come on guys. Lets see your efforts!
