Bold faced lie. West Coast Eagles/Adelaide Crows fan migrations for AFL finals in the 90s topped 30,000.
Agreed.

Still the biggest in the Aleague though, and perhaps the NRL too

f**k I'm wondering if this "yob" bloke and the "ianrichie" fella are sticking around here all day just to wait for a post in this thread. Jebus, talk about being bitter.

There are sad fucks and then there are the ones here. This is how forums become ghost towns, thanks to sad sh1ts like you blokes suffocating "newbies".

Never fear, I ain't going anywhere :)

nah it can't possibly be timing or anything.

and go ahead and have a pull, we deal in facts and something verging on reality here.

you'll probably get sick of having to be something like an adult pretty quick.

Just on Barca - they have something around 160,000 members. This is 80-90k north of Australia's largest club (on membership) Collingwood, and 140k more than our largest A-League club (Melbourne Figtree). It's a handy bit of perspective on where we're at, and what we can hope to achieve.

I'm happy to deal with facts and cast my opinion.

But there's a difference between dealing with facts and acting like a c***. If your intention is to be openly hostile to me then that's where you're doing it all wrong. Forums are meant to be welcoming places where diverse opinions are discussed.

Melbourne Storm won the grand-final in their second year. It was less than 20 years ago and in Australia

The Adelaide Crows got over 50,000 to their first home game - a trial game (not a Fosters Cup preseason game, a trial trial). 25,087 members in year 1, 38,673 in year 2.

Wanderers fans - pay some respect to what came before you, and you might just get some back.

And just quietly, try making the final of the ACL in your 3rd aleague season.
