Expansion to 12 teams, etc.

The interesting one is daily fixturing. Obviously this is in keeping with the culture of the sport. But it does well for the flow and continuity for fans, and is a great fit for pay television.

For shits and giggles I googled to see what happened to them. And I stumbled upon this wikipedia page.

If they keep on the same track it won't be long before they're outrating the A-League. OK, it's because A-League ratings are dropping faster than a North Korean plane as opposed to any increase in the NBL figures, but a win's a win.

Fox Sports aleauge ratings are fairly resilient. IMO all we're seeing with FTA ratings is real data held against the chest beating SBS does about its place in the game. Fact is if you like football you have foxtel - and have done so for years. Maybe a 3 hour FTA Friday slot is scooping up some numpties, but the real effect appears to be an extra 1,500 at the gate, not much else.

Also channel 10 stole Mel.

I watch the last few seconds of the Friday game cause the league follows it.
