There are fewer than 30,000 club participants in NSW/ACT (and falling, according to the 2012 Annual Report, p78). Are you trying to tell us there are almost as many players in NZ as NSW/ACT, or that the 'participation' is the far weaker test of having shown up to a clinic or similar (the one which gives the fanciful number of 844,000 in Australia and nearly 150,000 in NSW)?

If the former, source please; if the latter, hold your fire son.

Not to worry. Maybe we will just have to wait a bit and they will all disappear just like the 25,000 South Africans in that missing thread did.
