Consistent crowd figures would prove your theory otherwise. Actually, would still be the case even if you only included the number of people who sat in a seat from the start 'til the finish. Good fishing though ;)

To be fair it's a bit of a world XI given there is a South african, Kiwi & Zimbabwean amongst them.

17,771 turned up to the Ricky Ponting tribute match at Aurora Stadium last night.

Cricket will have to be added to the list of sports played at the stadium now that they have a drop in pitch.

The biggest Tasmanian cricket crowd ever, according to the @Austadiums twitter account! Beat the previous best (at Bellerive) by about 1k.
