Lots of Members are like me: Sit down for the first session or so, then drink in a bar all afternoon (especially yesterday with such a boring display by England). And there's those that never even make it to a seat - it's always a buzz out the back in the many MCC bars. In the morning, the majority of seats were taken in the reserve with the exception of some at the top in the Ponsford. The MCG isn't a Sydney venue - doesn't report inflated crowd figures - looked spot on to me! Biggest crowd displayed on the biggest screens at the biggest ground in Aus... Melbourne. ;) Almost 80k in the ground today.

My best days at the cricket were when I didn't see a ball bowled. Squash Court bar out the back of the old Ponsford Stand, could always find a few blokes from the Western District in there on Boxing Day.
