Sheffield Shield 2011/12

Post by Egan »

So we play NSW in a practice match from the 17th-19th September.

Looking forward to taking advantage of my office being across the road from the WACA 8)

My office moved 300m away from the SCG this winter.

Usual predictions. NSW to be strong. SA to be woeful.

NSW to be strong. Despite it's playing ranks being pillaged by the demands of the national team...

Attendances to drop to less than the average first innings score.

Warriors won yesterday...

Didn't manage to catch any glimpses. But will be having lunch breaks at the WACA into the future...

Off to the last 30mins before lunch.

Going to enjoy it if I get permanency with an office across the road from a venue that has a lot of weekday sport. Apparently it is a good crowd at the WACA as well (from a mate who is at the match).

??

Luke Butterworth continued his good form. Interesting that he opens the bowling even though he's not express. That's almost New Zealand-like. He bowls a good attacking line and makes confuses batsmen.

Thoroughly enjoyed both the lunchtime eating spot and walking across after work. Ponting looked good before he was beaten by a good ball.

Oh and 848 people as of 2:00pm yesterday.
