The magnificent Tasmanian U21 Hockey team took out the National Championship in Sydney yesterday by defeating NSW 1-0 in the final.

North Melbourne are finalising a deal to play 4 games at Bellerive in 2012. Hawks already have extended thier commitment to play 4 games in Tassie. If a team could be established, playing say 5 games at Launceston and Hobart with say one game in NT then this may be a way to go. St George Illawarra manage to have 2 homes 100km apart so it might be the model for Tas.cambond wrote:Tassie needs an afl team
