Good to see Westies taking games out to their country zone. Wish other clubs would do that - something like Port v Sturt would be a hit in Port Lincoln. And Adelaide in June/July is a complete washout anyway.

It is good, I went to Waikerie last season.

They reversed the 100 point thrashing that they got that day...

Actually it was a Sturt home game... the Murray is their zone I believe.

Country games are the best. Wouldn't have minded heading out to the sticks again.

I believe you to be right there U REDS. Sturt have the Murray, yet it borders on the Riverland which is Westies country region.

Ah well there we go. I always thought of Mannum as being Riverland, and Riverland being Westies.

Is Norwood back in town? Or are they just doing that sh*t team winning the odd game thing they've done for the last decade?

One thing they did have on their side was a free kick tally of 27 to 15.

And a desire for revenge from last year's game when Central's won basically on the final siren at the Parade. Was a cracker of a match!

Glenelg v Sturt looks like it'll be the pick of the bunch next round. The bays have gotten some top support the last few years, and they play a nice brand of footy. And looks like the rain will clear by sunday.

Running the numbers through my nerdy as crowds database, the current season average of 3403 after 12 rounds is the highest since 2002.

Is it still a 90 game season? If so, just over half way (47 matches). Would be a good pull to get 300,000 for the H/A season - last time was 1998 (320,912).
