Russian World Cup Bid Stadiums

Russia has narrowed its Host Cities list down to 16.


"The cities considered by the bid committee:
- Moscow city and region (4 stadiums)
- St. Petersburg
- Yaroslavl
- Sochi
- Krasnodar
- Rostov-Don
- Kazan
- Samara
- Nizhny Novgorod
- Volgograd
- Saransk
- Yekaterinburg
- Kaliningrad

16 venues altogether"

Until they decide what title Putin will have in 2018 I'm not convinced they're serious.

The leader is quite important. If they choose Catherine they can definitely afford to host the cup, because they receive +1 commerce for each tile already producing 2 commerce. They'll be regretting not building cities on the coast in combination with the Colossus.
