No argument about Sheffield - tho Melbourne FC claims 1856, I think. Geelong celebrates its 150th this year. I, for one, am proud that Port Adelaide FC was founded in 1870 - but I happen to like history 
that's where I got the 1859 from. I think they jumped the gun a bit last year with the whole 'birthday' thing
and I'm a MFC fan too.
