I'm a Swans supporter and that is great news. But keep ANZ stadium as an emergency home ground in case of something bad had happened at the SCG.

How much of the 600 will be spent on sports we don't play in NSW?

Everything to the right of the decimal point.

One out one in:

Sydney FC will like the idea of the RBB sitting 50 metres away from the action.

When we are in for a 6 figure profit this season and already sell every seat to just about every home game what is in it for us? $250k max a year in a $12-15m revenue business is not huge. It might be different if we needed the bigger event to help grow the club but while-ever Pirtek is too small that isn't the case.

Wanderers are getting a 3.5 million windfall from Asia/Club WC. Boohoo to the battlers in the eastern suburbs.

This is simply a play to advantage Sydney FC in the regular instance where they play 2 away derbies.

I don't know if you're trolling, but we won the league in 2008 and 2012 and the championship in 2013. There's no prizemoney.

We made the second round of the AFC CL in 2013 and the prizemoney is so meagre we would have lost a packet of money on the campaign.

Wanderers have won it - good for them - but that's not a business model worth a pinch of sh*t.

I'm saying when you're 3.5 million in the black you're not as distracted by the 250k as Sydney FC is.

If Wanderers want to win the champions league every year then good on them, but it aint what I'm arguing.

Did your post change?

Seems like a sensible suggestion to me.

Game 1: ANZ (early in the season when every club thinks they're a chance so the likelihood of selling the maximum number of tickets is greatest)
Game 2: Allianz (mid season)
Game 3: Pirtek (towards the end of the season - usually at least one of the clubs has dropped off the pace and therefore the interest is likely to be lower)

The problem is that once you treat home fixtures as a shared property between clubs it's a very slippery slope thereafter.

And is Sydney FC offering to donate one of their home fixtures this year, or in season 12? Seems we only need to be sharing when it suits them.

Try reading the article? That way you don't have to ask silly questions out in public.
