Overrated venue. Ok viewing and great atmosphere (when full) but no good if it's raining. I believe there are plans for a new roof. Hopefully that and a few other improvements.

Went to the NRL on Friday, arrived and bar staff couldn't pour a beer or operate cash register and went to get some food before the main game and we were given pies which were warm on the outside but cold/frozen on the inside. Took them back and were given more of the same so took them back and the only food available was hot chips. Very disappointing considering the cost of food and drink at the stadium. The footy was great but why do you and other stadiums have so much trouble in providing food and drink that is of an acceptable quality?

This is another one of my favourite places to watch footy. Not too many bad seats in the ground (although try and avoid the corners), you can get merchandise, it's got some of the best (male) toilet facilities that I've seen (in that it's huge, and not dirty), and getting something to eat or drink is really easy. Only problems are access. Parking around the SFS and SCG is diabolical - there's not a lot of it, it's expensive, and it will take you a loooong time to get out if you drive. I think that is deliberately planned though, because the precinct is only a short walk from central station, so just catch the train or walk if you're going. Great place, one of probably four or five 5 star stadiums in the country.

Aside from Leichhardt (bias aside) the best nrl stadium in the country. Built for the game we love and whilst holding a decent capacity it really generates a terrific atmosphere. 1st class stadium for nrl games all year round. Also it rectangular which automatically makes it great...can't stand nrl games played in an oval stadium...except the SCG

Sydney Football Stadium has a much better atmosphere then Stadium Australia for matches with smaller but still decent sized crowds, such as Super Rugby games. However, small crowds still lose atmosphere because it is a reasonably large stadium

I'm biased because I love Sydney FC but I think its a great football stadium. Not as good as Suncorp and the roof is shocking when it rains. Lots of bars and toilets. First ever A-League GF was held here (what a day!). Overall, its good. Walk the 15 mins from Central and go to the may pubs on the way up the hill to the ground.

I went there about a month ago. Parking was awful but I was lucky because the person driving was disabled. The members seats are awful because you are way too high. The best thing to do is never go near the stadium unless you are going to the Bewdiful S.C.G. or get tickets in the first five rows. Xtremely overrated stadium. It is annoying because the stadium rarely gets more than 20,000 little own a packed house. The main thing I am trying to get to you is Sydney Football Stadium shouldn't be a weekly visit or even a monthly visit and maybe even a yearly visit. You should just stay at home on your comfortable couch[No wonder it doesn't host grand finals. Sydney Football Stadium only hosts wogball[soccer] grand finals].

Still the best ground in Sydney to watch football, but you have to pick the right spot. If you do, you'll have a great view of the game and not bee too far away from the action either. If you don't, go home and watch it on tv. The works to increase the capacity have done a great deal of damage. The very front section is now overcrowded and with a very low rake (a la Telstra Stadium). If you're 12 rows back and someone stands up in the first row, they STILL obscure your view. Those responsible for this were obviously more concerned with money than spectator comfort and view. If you ever go there, make sure you have a seat that in not in the bottom dozen or so rows. And if it's raining, either make sure you're under the lit

im not really sure if the ppl who have rated this venue have actually been to aussie stadium. this is an A+ venue. for a stadium that is nearly 20 yrs old it still looks current and every seat has a great view thats nice and close to the action. also within walkin distance to the city and some of the best pubs in the world. if this isnt enough for some ppl then they will never be impressed.

Quite possibly the best venue I've been to. The grandstands are right up next to the field and the design of the stadium gives a wonderful atmosphere.
