Just starting to get pretty decent and then...
If all they have to get rid of is the Hadlee Stand, itcould actually improve the ground.

The newer west stand is awesome! Ive been to both M.C.G's new stand and Jade stadiums and no comparison! The old east stand definitely needs to go and the view from the DB draught stand is pretty good (considering that is where the cheapest seats are). Access to this ground is fantastic (on 10-15 mins walk from the city). Will be fantastic once they upgrade it for the RWC!

you seem a long way from the ground in rectangular format ie union, soccer, league.
its great for cricket though!!
