I went to this venue for the first A-league match of 2010-11 (CCM vs Mlb Heart). I was very pleased with its quality. Looks great, easy to get to and excellent viewing. My only complaint would be that perhaps it should be a bit bigger. 35 000+ would have been better. In all, an excellent addition to Melbourne Park.

Stadium looks fantastic on TV. Perfect size for the rectangular sports in Melbourne and the best venue of its kind in Australia. Just fix the leaks in the roof!

Soccer at the MCG or Docklands is terrible because you are so far from the action. I'm sick of Afl people thinking because there sport is good there so is soccer, its not! I went to 2001 Uruguay game at MCG and 2005 Uruguay game at Sydney Olympic stadium. Verdict: MCG does not rate as a football stadium.

Why is everyone going on about the World Cup and International games held at this new stadium??? Have people forgotten that the MCG and Etihad have capacity for over 50,000! This stadium to my understanding has been designed for the local clubs Melbourne Storm and possibly Victory or the new proposed Soccer team, not for international games to be held every weekend! I think it's about time a stadium of this size was built in Melbourne, we have 2 major stadiums already, no need for a 3rd. This will be good for the Storm! Remember one thing people, when the AFL can only pull 35,000 to a game at the G, it looks empty! Besides the Grand Final, I think the only time the G gets close to full capacity is when the Anzac day clash is on. This stadium is what Melbourne needs, the G' is Melbourne's land mark for sport, we should never forget that!

though I can't say its good until i have watched a game played there, i think its a good stadium with a perfect amount of seating for melbourne victory and melbourne storm.

Wat an absolute legendary stadium. I agree with asher, 31,500 isnt enough for Victory games. At least 45,000 but i think when the years go by, further upgrades will be made. By 2020 it will 55,000. Looks 'effin AWESOME!!!

I disagree with this stadiums size, 31000 is far too small, this stadium is in melbourne and should be aimed at holding possible world cup matches if we ever get a World Cup. 45,000+ should be minimum..

I would think that this stadium has 4 main lights at either corner? Please correct me if I'm wrong, there only seems to be 2 lights at any ramdom corner! But I bellive that there are 4 lights Otherwise it would be like Telstra Stadium with only one side lit up!

I dont think one yr off good crowds really means that the victory are always going to get these 40K plus crowds. the 34,000 they are offering is more then enough cause yes the victory are goin to be able to get these crowds for the one off games but i dont think they average over 34,000 even with the yr they had last season
