Kinetic Stadium

Kinetic Stadium is an oval sports ground located in the Melbourne seaside suburb of Frankston. Formerly known as SkyBus Stadium and non-commercially as Frankston Oval, it is the home ground of VFL club Frankston Dolphins. With views overlooking the bay, it features a historical grandstand which was re-built after it was destroyed by a fire in 2008, and is capable of seating 1,000 spectators undercover. There is terracing opposite the grandstand as well as a modern two-story pavilion which includes a large function centre with views of the oval and across the water. The total capacity of Frankston Oval is around 5,000.

The ground is a narrow one and is not used for cricket and therefore provides 12 months usage for Australian football. It features 1000-lux lighting to allow for the broadcast of night matches. The four large light towers were completed in October 2020 and will allow night AFLW and VFL matches to be played at the venue. Internal car parking is available as well as extensive external car parking. The Frankston Football Club fully licensed social club is capable of seating up to 250 people.

Frankston Oval was rebranded as SkyBus Stadium following a naming-rights deal in 2018 when Frankston returned to the VFL competition. An extended four-year naming-rights partnership with Kinetic, the Melbourne-born international bus operator and owner of SkyBus, in September 2022, sees the ground rebranded as Kinetic Stadium.
