Robertson Oval

Wagga's Robertson Oval is a multi-use sports facility primarily hosting Australian football and cricket. The venue was recently upgraded including a new playing surface to allow for pre-season AFL games and first-class cricket. The ground contains a main grandstand with seating for 350 and social club on the western side with a grass embankment surrounding the rest of the arena. The record attendance currently stands at around 11,000 for an International Rugby League match between Riverina and France in 1960 while 10,732 attended a Rugby League International between Riverina and Great Britain in 1954. The first recorded cricket match was played at Robertson Oval in 1878.
