The Queenstown Events Centre is a complex of outdoor and indoor venues. The main oval has a capacity of 19,000 and includes seating for 6,000. Temporary grandstands with 13,000 seats are usually erected for large events. The Queenstown Events Centre plays host to International Cricket and Rugby with the Highlanders playing several Super 15 Rugby games at the venue.
