Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre

The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre is an indoor arena and exhibition centre located in the heart of Broadbeach on Australia's Gold Coast. Opened on 29 June 2004 at a cost of $167 million, the centre features a main arena with tiered seating for 5269 spectators for sporting events such as basketball and netball, with every seat close to the action. The centre was expanded in early 2009 at a cost of $40 million, adding two extra exhibition halls and other new facilities.

The venue is the previous home of former NBL team Gold Coast Blaze, who played at the venue between 2007 and 2012, and also referred to it as "The Furnace". The centre hosted the netball competition and basketball finals during the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games and has also staged boxing, UFC, rodeo and concerts.

The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre is located adjacent to The Star Gold Coast and is connected by a 270 metre covered walkway, while Surfers Paradise is just a 5 minute drive from the venue and the Airport a 20 minute drive.
