Norm Minns Oval
Norm Minns Oval (also known as the Wangarratta Showgrounds) is a football and cricket ground located in the Victorian country town of Wangaratta. The venue has played host to a number of pre-season AFL and first-class cricket matches. Home of the Wangaratta Football Club, it is one of the two main Ovens & Murray Football League grounds (along with the Lavington Sports Ground) and has played host to many league Grand Finals over the years. Facilities include a 600-seat undercover grandstand, pavilion, sheltered standing room and coaches boxes. In 2011 the ground was upgraded which included new lighting suitable for night matches. The venue also features a bicycle track around the arena - which is usually converted into a spectator area for large events. The current capacity of Norm Minns Oval is around 11,000.
