Perched on the cliffs edge at Williamstown, Point Gellibrand Oval (officially known as Burbank Oval following a naming-rights deal) is often subject to strong winds while offering a terrific view of the ocean. The ground is home to VFL side Williamstown Seagulls and between 2010 and 2012 has been redeveloped to improve the outdated facilities. The grandstand has been completely redeveloped with new spectator facilities including a large function room, new seating, player facilities, electronic scoreboard and a new playing surface. The first game back at Burbank Oval is due to take place on Saturday 9th June.
