Box Hill City Oval

Home of VFL side the Box Hill Hawks, the Box Hill City Oval is located on the corner of Middleborough and Whitehorse Roads in Box Hill. The ground centres around a red brick grandstand situated on the wing, in front of the interchange benches. The stand includes a bar, indoor viewing and opposition change rooms. Terraces flank the grandstand on either side, with the club's administration and player facilities on the other side of the terrace towards the Whitehorse Road goals. Grass surrounds the rest of the ground. The playing surface, which was relayed before the 2007 season, is regarded as being one of the best in the Victorian Football League. The total capacity is around 10,000. New gates and a carpark on Whitehorse Road were opened on Anzac Day at Box Hill City Oval, before the Hawks' first home game of the 2007 season. There are plans to redevelop the venue in the future.
