| Opened in 1921, Memorial Drive is one of the world's great tennis clubs. It is full of tradition, and for more than seventy years has been the headquarters of South Australian tennis. For all that time it has produced grass courts which have ranked with the world's best.
The complex is located next door to the Adelaide Oval and contains many courts including Centre Court which has two grandstands at either end. Temporary corporate facilities are erected on either side of the court for major events such as the annual World Tennis Challenge.
