Until recenty was known as Teac Oval, the ground is once again known as North Port Oval or the Port Melbourne Cricket Ground. It is the main ground used for the Victorian Football League. Port Melbourne Football Club play their home games, as well as many finals matches are played at the venue.
The ground has a main grandstand on the wing, an electronic scoreboard and new social club facilities are currently under construction. There is a timeclock on the hill that remains and is the largest of its type in the southern hemisphere.
The Port Melbourne Cricket Club who have a long and proud history also call North Port Oval home.
