The city of Liverpool in Sydney's West was to be the home of a new $1 billion Oasis sporting complex at Woodward Park. However the project is no longer going ahead.

The Arena was to be stage one of Woodward Park, and was to be completed in October 2002. The Arena was to have 7,000 seats and cost $33 million to build. The stadium was also going to include 54 corporate boxes and retractable seating. The venue was to be the new home venue of NBL club West Sydney Razorbacks.
