Construction of the new stand is complete.Overview:
The Eastern Stand (Outer) at Ericsson Stadium is currently being
demolished and replaced by a new 2-tier stand.
The new stand will be built
in two phases. The first, which is due for completion by the start of the
2004 Warriors' season in March 2004, will consist of 4,000 uncovered public
seats.
The second phase of the construction will be the completion of the corporate
suites, club seating and hospitality lounge, public concourses, offices and
gymnasium facilities. This phase is due for completion by March 2005.
The $21M project will be funded from existing stadium reserves and revenue
over a projected 15 year period.
