Redevelopment work has been completed.Overview:
Features of the redevelopment include a new eastern grandstand with 4,700
seats, a new small stand on the south mound with seating for just under
1,000, upgraded member facilities in the Western stand, improved corporate
and function facilities, the installation of a video replay screen and
improved public address system. Work will be completed before the 2003
Rugby World Cup hits town and will ensure the Adelaide Oval remains as one
of the leading cricket ground in the world. The capacity of the ground
will be over 30,000 one completed.
