Considering cricket loses capacity due to the sightscreens at both ends, how did this game draw a bigger crowd than the football?

Adelaide and Port have memberships north of 55k. Their crowds are at the mercy of member uptake, whereas a one off big cricket final is largely match-day ticket attendees. A member will buy their season ticket knowing they may not attend all games. A random punter generally won't buy a ticket for a game they won't attend the next day (besides accidents and the like).

The cricket crowd is still 1k below capacity.

Also for grounds with large standing room areas, capacity is determined by regulation. Hence why Hindmarsh has a number of crowds which are 1 to 1.5k above the original capacity, despite being the same old stadium.
