Knights Stadium

Post by somers »

Now known as Mansion Stadium, after Mansion88 secured major sponsor for Melbourne Knights (Same sponsor as Tottenham). I'll get some photos once the sign goes up, also photos of the upgrade last year.

Notice the Knights' short sponsor this year is Daily Planet.

What upgrades were done?

Pitch was dug up and resurfaced.
Trees pulled out behind the Southern end goal. and re 'landscaped' so the old stairs are no longer there.
Big shitty mesh fence taken down behind Southern end goal.
Big nets been put up behind the goals.
Fresh red rocks around the ground. (Got to love wearing white shoes)
Stadium painted inside and out.
Cracked and broken chairs pulled out. (Still yet to be replaced)
Corporate boxes refurbished.
VIP Room renovation.

Looks a lot neater then it used to..

Somers, I note the redevolpments at Knights Stadium don't include a house on the sideline? This is breaking with Baltic tradition somewhat isn't it?

See! They demolish grounds that put houses on the sideline!

Will be host to Australian Super X Championship in October http://www.superx.com.au/

Finally all seats will be red with existing broken/odd coloured seats being replaced.

Also a good chance that horrid looking fence will be chopped down soon with a bar at the top. So it won't look like a prison anymore

I like Knights Stadium I think that the fence around it is not good and seating behind the goals and the other wing would make it a heap better. :D
